What has been rotated 360 degree like a chicken on a rotisserie, taken off her sub-frame, had all her skeletons revealed, stripped to bare metal, fabricated, restored, overhauled, and painted with Matrix, House of Kolor, and Roth Metal Flakes? Wait, we almost forgot to mention the Box Performance Inc 396 BBC and 4 Sp Muncie.
This build has been one of the hardest for myself, my husband, and my team. It almost felt that if it could go wrong, it went wrong. None the less, this beautiful, classic, muscle car brought so many people together, and made a team stronger.
The “Atomic Fireball” was literally the start of the “Adventures of Kandi Blaze & Capt 69”. It’s how Rob and I got our official start and well, here we are, a firefighter and a gearhead that ended up married. Wow!
This build wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work and perseverance of my incredibly hardworking team, and the sponsors that helped make everything a reality.
I want to personal thank Tom at NCS for the red base color. Shop Owners Warehouse for getting my mix system in with House of Kolor and Matrix Automotive Finishes. William Patznick with R&B Customs and Box Performance Inc for sponsoring the 396 big block motor. Kevin Hill with Schaeffer’s Oil for my safety and lubrication sponsorship.
I am truly blessed to have such a phenomenal team, gracious sponsors, and for those that support the industry.
